Indicative
Indicative verbs are used to express a statement of fact.
Subjunctive
Subjunctive verbs indicate a possibility or hypothetical situation.
Imperative
Imperative verbs are used to express a command.
Infinitive
Infinitive verbs have no endings for person or number and usually coordinate with another verb.
Optative
Optative verbs are used to express wishes or desires.
Participle
A participle is a word formed from a verb that is used as an adjective.
