Grammatical person is used to indicate the person that the verb is referring to.

First person

1st person indicates the speaker, i.e. I or we.

Second person

2nd person indicates the person who is being spoken to, i.e. you.

Third person

3rd person indicates a person who is being referred to, other than the speaker or addressee, i.e. he, she, it.
